My list is long

things I want to accomplish
and places to go

I can't go alone anymore.
The weight is getting heavy

Life is a team sport
and i've been running a race against myself

It's selfish in a way
but I also see that what I solve
within me can be applied to you
as long as I go deep enough

We're all the same at the core -
flesh and bones
and dust
waiting to share it's energy
with something else in this wide and wild universe

I wonder where my spirit will go
after this experience

i hope it's somewhere warm
and all of you are there again
so I dont have to
do it myself
